This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
At the center of the discussion were people and their safety, community cohesion, and the preservation of identity under evacuation conditions.
Participants discussed how to make governance more responsive to people’s needs, how to attract resources for recovery, and how to support those most affected by the war.
They honored the memory of fallen defenders, volunteers, and humanitarian workers who gave their lives helping others.
“Together with Serhii Dobriak, Oleksii Orlovskyi, and Nataliia Kyrkach, I took part in a panel on a human-centered approach to the recovery of Donetschyna.
A separate part of the event was the awarding of volunteers. I had the honor of presenting awards in five categories: Support for Defenders, Health and Care, Light of Knowledge, Power of Youth, and Warmth of Hearts. This is a token of appreciation for those who uphold communities, support people in their most difficult moments, and do more every day than duty requires.
We work together for our people and for the future of Donetschyna,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
