On November 28, 2025, in Oleksandriya, Kirovohrad region, a ceremony was held to honor the memory of the heroes who died in the Avdiivka community of the Pokrovsk district, residents of the Oleksandriya district.
The event was attended by Olga Korinenko, head of the Oleksandriia District Military Administration; Volodymyr Kolosov, head of the Pokrovsk District State Administration and head of the district military administration; Vitalii Barabash, head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration; families of the fallen soldiers; representatives of local authorities; and the public.
Those present honored the memory of the heroes with a minute of silence. As part of the event, a video presentation of the city of Avdiivka, a symbol of the resilience and struggle of the Ukrainian people, was shown.
In accordance with the order of the head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, the heroes of the Oleksandriia district were posthumously awarded medals "For the Defense of Avdiivka." The awards were received by their relatives and community representatives.
Volodymyr Kolosov presented a letter of thanks from the Pokrovsk District State Administration and expressed his gratitude to the head of the Oleksandriya District Military Administration, Olga Korinenko, for her patriotism, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the organization of work on the construction and equipping of fortifications and other engineering structures to repel and deter the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
