I am an internally displaced person and plan to rent a room in a dormitory, where the landlord is a legal entity. Can I independently apply for a housing rental subsidy?
Yes, you can.
Internally displaced persons (IDPs) who rent housing from legal entities can participate in the state targeted assistance program aimed at covering housing rental costs*.
A tenant who is the authorized representative of the household for receiving a housing rental subsidy can independently submit an application and the rental agreement concluded between the landlord (legal entity) and the tenant.
List of required documents:
▫️ Application (in the prescribed form);
▫️ Rental agreement;
▫️ Other documents confirming the applicant’s right or status / health condition as an IDP, or other life circumstances (such as divorce, establishment of separate residence for spouses, child support payments, or determination of a child’s place of residence with one parent).
Documents can be submitted through:
▫️ Service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
▫️ The web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
▫️ Administrative Service Centers (CNAPs);
▫️ The Social web portal of electronic services of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine (if technically available).
