On May 23, 2026, on the occasion of the European Day of Parks, the "All-Ukrainian Toloka with BUR 2026" was held, organized by the public organization Building Ukraine Together together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration organized events in the communities of Donetsk region. Representatives of the communities of Donetsk region, who are currently in the city of Dnipro and other regions of Ukraine, took part in the tolokas. Youth, families with children and active residents of the communities jointly joined in the improvement of territories, cleaning and arrangement of public spaces.
The toloka in Dnipro took place on the territory of the Museum of the Modern Russian-Ukrainian War.
As noted by the museum director Hanna Teryanyk, such support is extremely important for the institution, because the museum staff is predominantly female, and such initiatives not only help maintain the proper condition of the territory, but also demonstrate unity, concern and respect for the place that preserves the memory of the modern struggle of the Ukrainian people.
Also, within the framework of the "All-Ukrainian Toloki with BUR 2026", active residents of territorial communities of the Donetsk region held local Toloki in their communities, and internally displaced persons from the Donetsk region joined in the improvement of territories in the communities where they currently live. The participants of the events jointly cleaned public spaces, taking care of cleanliness, improvement and comfort of the environment.
Such initiatives contribute to the unity of people, the development of civic responsibility and the formation of a culture of careful attitude to the environment even in today's difficult conditions.
