The Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, announced that communities and municipal utility companies in the Donetsk region have received 12 modern pickup trucks through cooperation with Germany's Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW).
The new vehicles will help ensure the rapid execution of emergency repair and recovery work, the delivery of essential materials, the operation of critical infrastructure, and an effective response to challenges caused by Russian aggression.
Cooperation between the Donetsk Regional State Administration and THW began in late 2023. Since then, the agency has become one of the region's most reliable international partners, providing consistent support to local communities and municipal services.
As part of this partnership, a substantial amount of specialized equipment, generators, professional tools, and other essential supplies has already been delivered. The total value of the assistance provided has now exceeded €3 million.
These resources enable communities to respond more effectively to the consequences of shelling, maintain the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure, and promptly meet the needs of residents even under the most challenging conditions.
"I sincerely thank Germany's Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, and all our partners for their trust, solidarity, and unwavering support for the Donetsk region.
It is thanks to this kind of international partnership that the Donetsk region continues to endure despite all the challenges of the war," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
