#SideBySide
As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” representatives of the Siverska City Community, together with partners from the Mukachevo City Community and the Onokivska Rural Community, took part in an online dialogue titled “An Unbreakable State—A Strong Nation,” dedicated to Ukrainian Statehood Day.
Librarians and staff from cultural institutions in the partner communities joined the event. The meeting served as a platform for communication, exchanging ideas, and reflecting on the significance of Ukrainian statehood in today’s context.
During the online dialogue, participants discussed the historical path of Ukrainian statehood, the resilience of the Ukrainian people, and the role of culture in preserving national memory and spiritual values. Particular attention was paid to the importance of libraries and cultural institutions as centers of education, patriotic upbringing, and social cohesion.
Participants emphasized that today, unity, mutual support, and cooperation among communities are the key to Ukraine’s resilience. The “Side by Side: United Communities” project once again demonstrates that, regardless of distance, Ukrainian communities can effectively interact, support one another, and implement joint initiatives.
