Living and working in a frontline region today is both a daily challenge and a testament to remarkable resilience.

For residents of remote villages, traveling to larger towns to access public services or find employment has become increasingly difficult.

That is why Employment Service specialists regularly conduct outreach visits directly in local communities. Distance should never be a barrier to receiving support, and everyone deserves to know that help is available.

Today, specialists from the Sloviansk Office of the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center visited residents of the village of Novomykolaivka in the Kramatorsk district. The mobile office was organized in cooperation with the Cherkaska Settlement Military Administration.

For many people living in frontline communities, finding employment remains a pressing concern. Employment specialists provided personalized consultations tailored to each individual's situation.

For those looking to build or restart their careers, they explained how to find employment after the age of 50, prepare an effective resume, understand what employers are looking for, and acquire new in-demand skills—or even change professions entirely through vocational training.

For those interested in remote work, specialists presented the Employment Service's online tools and arranged virtual job interviews with employers.

For local entrepreneurs and individuals planning to start their own businesses, they provided detailed information about the Own Business grant program. Restoring economic activity within local communities is critically important, and government grants help aspiring entrepreneurs take their first confident steps while reducing financial risks.

Representatives also met with local employers to discuss government support programs designed to help businesses preserve jobs and recover from damage or operational disruptions.

During the visit, Svitlana Bondarieva, Head of the Kramatorsk Branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, met with the leadership of the Novomykolaivka Starosta District. They discussed strengthening cooperation between local authorities, social partners, civil society organizations, and employers, expanding the number of enterprises participating in community service programs, and developing broader partnerships for the future.

The mobile employment center will continue visiting communities to ensure that every resident knows they are not alone, that opportunities remain available, and that professional support is always within reach.
