On International Mother Language Day, humanitarian hubs/centers established for residents of Donetsk Oblast in safe regions of Ukraine held events and cultural activities promoting Ukrainian as the state language and supporting it through words, poetry, and song.

Educational and entertaining games such as "Secrets of the Language Code," "The Ukrainian Language – the Pearl of Our People," "Let's Preserve Our Treasure – Our Native Language," language and literature lessons, and sketches such as "Our Native Language – Our Weapon and Our Protection," "Language is the soul of the people," "Our native language is the spiritual treasure of the nation," and "Our soul is warmed by the Ukrainian language, the language of periwinkle" were another step toward helping children realize the value of the Ukrainian language as an integral part of national identity, the spiritual heritage of the people, their history, culture, and memory.

Humanitarian hubs/centers host conversation and discussion clubs such as "Let's talk about Ukraine in Ukrainian," "Let's learn Ukrainian together," "Speak Ukrainian," and "Freely UA," which hold educational quizzes and board games, provide language tasks, and teach basic spelling rules to help improve knowledge of the Ukrainian language.

The "Discovering Ukraine" project, implemented in various locations, promotes national traditions and history, supports Ukrainian cultural identity, and aims to foster national and patriotic education. The project is implemented in the form of lectures on Ukrainian culture and history, research on the achievements of prominent Ukrainians, workshops on improving language skills and studying dialects, Ukrainian language classes, game sessions, and interactive classes.

The locations host themed book exhibitions such as "My Language – Nightingale Dawn," "Reading Books – Discovering the New Ukraine to the World," "Ukrainian Words for Kids," and "Reading in Ukrainian," which reveal the greatness and traditions of Ukraine, its struggle for independence, rich traditions, and national identity.

Language is a driving force that embodies the culture and history of an entire nation. It has united Ukrainians and the whole world and leads to Ukraine's victory.

We are powerful and strong in our language! Our word is our strength!
