On the Day of National Prayer and the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, the head of the scientific and educational department of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve in Svyatogorsk organised an informational and educational event for students of the Lyman community entitled ‘Unbreakable Hearts, Unconquerable Country.’ Svyatogorsk‘ held an informational and educational event for students of the Lyman community entitled ’Unbreakable Hearts, Unconquerable Country."
The purpose of the event was to raise awareness among young people of the historical significance of the events that began on 24 February 2022, to deepen their knowledge of the current stage of Ukraine's struggle for independence, and to affirm the values of civic responsibility, unity and national dignity.
During the meeting, the key events of the initial stage of the full-scale war were highlighted, the main challenges faced by the state and society were outlined, and examples of the resilience and courage of Ukrainian military personnel and civilians were given. Special attention was paid to the importance of spiritual consolidation of society, mutual support and common prayer as factors in preserving national unity in times of war.
The event took the form of a lively discussion, which gave students the opportunity to join in the conversation and express their own thoughts on the role of the younger generation in strengthening the state, preserving historical memory and affirming national values.
