During a working trip, the heads of departments and management of the social and humanitarian block of the Donetsk Regional State Administration visited the humanitarian hub "Unity" of the Pokrovsk City Military Administration, which has been operating in the city of Kropyvnytskyi since March 2023.
During the visit, representatives of the regional authorities familiarized themselves with the areas of work of the hub, communicated with internally displaced persons, volunteers, and community activists who united around a common goal — supporting their fellow countrymen who were forcibly displaced from Donetsk region.
The hub provides assistance to over 3,700 internally displaced persons, including 667 children. Here, one can receive humanitarian support, consultations on legal, social, and psychological issues, use the services of a social wardrobe, a seamstress, and participate in cultural and educational events.
Such initiatives are an example of how community cohesion and care allow for maintaining unity and dignity even at a distance from home.
