Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, took part in a meeting of the board of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the results of Donetsk Oblast athletes’ participation in the final competitions of the “Side by Side All-Ukrainian School Leagues” among students of general secondary education institutions in the 2025–2026 school year, held under the slogan “Together We Will Win.”
The meeting participants also discussed the progress of implementing measures under the State Targeted Social Program for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports in the Donetsk region during the first half of 2026.
Despite the challenging conditions of wartime, the Donetsk region continues to support the development of physical culture and sports, create opportunities for children and youth to participate in sports, and ensure the participation of the region’s athletes in All-Ukrainian competitions.
During the meeting, further tasks and priority areas of work in the field of physical culture and sports were also identified.
