Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, participated via videoconference in a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Bringing Civil Protection Shelters of Strategic Importance for Public Safety into Proper Condition.
The meeting was chaired by Oleksii Serhieiev, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Head of the Coordination Headquarters.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the report "The Condition and Functionality of Shelters for War-Affected Population in Ukraine: Monitoring Results of the Secretariat." They also discussed the results of comprehensive inspections of civil protection shelters conducted throughout 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, as well as recent legislative changes concerning the organization of public sheltering in civil protection facilities.
Following the meeting, participants outlined further steps aimed at improving the preparedness and proper maintenance of civil protection shelters, enhancing the mechanisms governing their operation, and strengthening public safety under martial law.
