Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, took part in an online meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures and Effective Response to Mass Population Displacement.
During the meeting, participants discussed current issues related to organizing the evacuation of the population, coordinating actions between central and local authorities, and ensuring the safe movement of people from areas where there remains a threat to life and health.
Ihor Boiko briefed participants on the security situation in the Donetsk region and the status of evacuation efforts in the region.
For Donetsk Oblast, the issue of evacuation remains one of the key areas of focus. Amid constant enemy shelling, it is crucial to ensure a rapid response, clear coordination among all responsible agencies, and proper support for evacuated residents.
Particular attention is being paid to the evacuation of children and families from frontline areas, as saving lives and ensuring people’s safety is an absolute priority.
Ihor Boiko emphasized the need for continued coordinated efforts to carry out evacuation measures in a timely manner and to protect the population of Donetsk Oblast.
