They discussed concrete issues: joint youth projects, closer cooperation between delegates and military administrations, and a unified platform where young people can find information about education, employment, and available support.
On the eve of the meeting, the delegates completed an intensive training program and learned in detail how local self-government, budgets, and decision-making work at the community and regional levels. This knowledge is essential for turning their own ideas into real projects.
"We already have the first recognition of our youth's work. Oleksandr Nesterenko, Head of the Regional Youth Congress of Donetsk Oblast, was elected Deputy Head of the Chamber of Regional Youth Congresses. I also appointed Oleksandr as my Advisor on Youth Issues—I want the voice of the youth to be heard directly during the preparation of regional authority decisions.
I am grateful to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the initiative to establish the Chamber of Regional Youth Congresses. It opens a real path for young people to participate in state and regional governance.
