#плічОпліч
To mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, the Myrne and Velyki Luchky communities prepared a special project that brought together two libraries, two communities, and young Ukrainians, despite the distance between them.
The video was created by the library in the village of Velyki Luchky, part of the Velykoluchkivska community in Zakarpattia Oblast, and the Myrnenska community in Donetsk Oblast as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.
The main idea of the video is to showcase the unity of the younger generation, their love for Ukraine, their respect for one another, and the realization that we are one people.
Distance cannot separate those who are united by their love for their homeland. Our collaboration has once again confirmed that Ukrainians can stand together—in spirit, in thought, and in heart.
The Myrne Town Military Administration sincerely thanks Maria Liba, head librarian of the Velyki Luchky village library; Lyubov Poleva, director of the Granitne village library; and everyone who contributed to the creation of the video project “We Are Your Children, Ukraine!”
May our Ukraine be free, strong, and happy, and may a peaceful sky always shine over every Ukrainian home!
