In the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi community in Cherkasy Oblast, the Lyman city community received extremely important aid from Norwegian friends—an ambulance to evacuate residents of the Lyman region from dangerous areas.
The vehicle was delivered from Norway to Ukraine by volunteers from the Ukraine Frontline Emergency Aid charitable foundation, with the assistance of the NGO “Shevchenkivskyi Krai.”
For the Lyman community, which lives daily amid active hostilities and constant danger, this vehicle is, above all, an opportunity to reach people faster and save lives. The vehicle will be used during evacuation operations from dangerous settlements within the community.
The Lyman City Military Administration sincerely thanks our Norwegian friends, the volunteers of Ukraine Frontline Emergency Aid, the NGO “Shevchenkivskyi Krai,” the Cherkasy Regional and District Military Administrations, as well as the partner community of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi for their support and assistance.
The thousands of kilometers traveled by the volunteers represent much more than just the delivery of a vehicle. It is a demonstration of humanity, compassion, and genuine solidarity with the residents of the frontline Lyman region.
