The evacuation of residents from the Donetsk region is continuing in the Kharkiv region. Sixty-five people departed from Orilka Station on the latest “Lozova–Lviv” train.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
Among those evacuated were seven children and eight people with disabilities and limited mobility. The oldest passenger is 85 years old. Along with the people, pets—two dogs and eight cats—were also evacuated.
For residents of the Donetsk region, the evacuation train offers an opportunity to leave areas under constant shelling and ensure the safety of themselves and their families.
Most of the evacuees headed to Kyiv. Other passengers traveled to Lviv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, and Vinnytsia.
Evacuation from Orilka and Dnipro is free of charge. To depart, you must register in advance with volunteers and local government authorities.
