On December 15, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center Nataliia Adamova familiarized herself with the experience of Kramatorsk employers in implementing inclusive practices and arranging workplaces for people with disabilities. She visited enterprises that have already used state support instruments and ensured accessible working conditions for employees with disabilities.
At the municipal non-profit enterprise City Hospital No. 2, together with Chief Physician Andrii Apryshko, the director discussed opportunities for partnership with the Employment Service and mechanisms to support employers. This year, the medical facility employed Ms. Yuliia as a medical registrar. To enable her to perform her duties effectively, the hospital purchased specially selected furniture and office equipment, allowing her to work without barriers and comfortably integrate into the work process.
Next, Ms. Adamova learned about the experience of Kramatorsk entrepreneur Liudmyla Blyzniuk, owner of the Milati Café. When she needed a new employee, Liudmyla turned to the Employment Service, where she received prompt assistance in selecting a candidate and consultations on employer support programs.
The specialists’ recommendations proved valuable when Oleksandr joined the team as a barista. The young man has professional training, experience, and a high level of motivation. He quickly became a valued member of the team: colleagues note his skills and sincere attitude toward his work. The compensation received for arranging his workplace was used by the entrepreneur to improve service quality and expand the café’s operations.
The experience of Kramatorsk employers shows that state inclusion programs effectively contribute to business development and the formation of a barrier-free labor market. The Donetsk Regional Employment Service continues to work to ensure that more employers are able to create workplaces accessible to everyone.
