On the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes of Kruty, an online discussion entitled "Kruty: A Feat That Made History" was held, bringing together young people from the Velykonovosilkovskyi and Teplitskyi communities.
The online meeting took place within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities" and in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Velykonovosilkovska and Teplitsk communities.
Students from secondary schools in both communities joined the discussion, which gave them an opportunity not only to recall historical events, but also to reflect on their significance for modern Ukraine.
During the meaningful dialogue, the students talked about the feat of the young men who stood up for Ukrainian statehood, drew parallels between the events of 1918 and the present day, and shared their own thoughts and feelings.
This format of interaction once again demonstrated that shared memory, dialogue, and unity are important components of educating conscious youth and preserving historical truth.
