The Donetsk Youth Palace "Yunist" invites students and teachers of vocational, pre-higher, and higher education institutions to join the multi-genre patriotic festival "We Are Proud to Be Ukrainians!", which will be held remotely from February 19 to 26, 2026.
Creative groups and individual performers aged 15 and older from different cities of Ukraine are invited to participate in various genres, formats, and creative styles.
To participate, a separate application for each participant and a video must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line "Patriotic Festival" by February 16, 2026 (inclusive).
Online voting for the "Audience Choice Award" will take place from February 20 to 25, 2026, on the Palace website https://yunist.org.ua. Anyone can vote.
Festival nominations:
- Vocals: academic, pop, folk, rap, original songs;
- Instrumental genre: folk, classical, pop;
- Original genre: juggling, equilibristics, acrobatics, clowning;
- Theatrical genre: drama, pop, academic, puppet, pantomime, fashion theater;
- Spoken genre: prose, poetry, play (excerpt), fables, humor, conferencing;
- Visual arts: painting, graphics;
Decorative and applied arts: paper art, decorative and applied techniques, etc.
Age categories:
I – 15–18 years old
II – 19–25 years old
III – 26+
IV – mixed
Requirements for video works (performance genres):
- format – mp4;
- duration – up to 5 minutes;
- Ukrainian language voiceover;
- indicate the title of the work and educational institution in the credits;
- use of personal photos and video materials is permitted;
- the work must correspond to the theme of the festival.
Requirements for works of fine and decorative arts:
- photo format JPG (at least 1280×720);
- works must be done by hand, without editing in photo editors;
- 1 photo for paintings and graphics;
- 2 photos from different angles for decorative and applied works;
- horizontal image orientation.
Works that are not eligible for participation include those that:
- were submitted after the deadline;
- were created using artificial intelligence;
- were made in the "painting by numbers" or diamond mosaic format;
- do not meet the requirements of the Regulations.
The winners in each category and age group will be determined by the festival jury.
