As part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project and a three-way partnership, the Kalush City Community invited the Novohrodivka Community to participate in the first stage of the nationwide Energy Manager Star 2026 competition.
This collaboration exemplifies true community solidarity in the pursuit of sustainable development and support for young people.
The joint initiative is titled “Energy of Childhood: Partnership for a Sustainable Future.”
The project aims to help children and youth develop practical skills in energy conservation. Special emphasis will be placed on the theme “Energy in Times of Crisis,” where the experience of both communities will help create effective sustainability strategies.
The program of joint activities includes:
🟢 a series of interactive educational sessions and games;
🟢 the development of creative solutions (models, posters);
🟢 a simulation game to master energy efficiency skills;
🟢 the creation of a unique “Children’s Guide to Energy Efficiency.”
The project will conclude with a presentation of the results, an exhibition of the works, and an awards ceremony for the participants.
