Today, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko paid a working visit to Donetsk region. During a meeting with the team of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, as well as heads of district and local military administrations, he introduced the new heads of two key law enforcement agencies.
Mykola Matviienko has been appointed Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk region. Yakiv Nemykin has been appointed Head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk region.
“Both leaders are experienced professionals who have worked in the region for many years, understand its specifics well, and are dedicated to their work.
During the meeting, we emphasized that our strength lies in joint efforts. Together, we are doing everything possible to protect people, provide them with the necessary assistance, and support them in the most difficult times.
I thank the Minister and all law enforcement officers who continue to work in the region every day for the safety of our citizens,” said Vadym Filashkin.
