During an online meeting, the Khlibodarivska community announced the winners of the “Voice of a Generation” recitation contest, which took place as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” in celebration of World Poetry Day.
The event brought together participants from different parts of Ukraine and was the result of cooperation between the Khlibodarivska and Lopushnenska rural communities.
This year, the contest attracted 32 participants from 7 communities, who recited poetry by contemporary Ukrainian authors of the 21st century. Hundreds of viewers on Facebook supported the contestants, voted, and inspired them with their comments.
“Voice of a Generation” is not just a contest, but a space for supporting talent, developing the Ukrainian language, and fostering unity. For the second year in a row, the Khlibodarivska community, together with the NGO “Time of the Free,” is creating opportunities for new voices that bring poetry to life.
