The renovation of the history classroom at Kuzmynohrebelskyi Lyceum of the Khrystynivka District Council in Cherkasy Oblast has been completed thanks to the joint efforts of the clients of the municipal institution Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation, the students' parents, and the teaching staff. This initiative became a vivid example of how the combined efforts of the community and social services can bring meaningful results for children.
For several weeks, work was underway to update the classroom. The boys undergoing rehabilitation eagerly joined the process — they plastered the walls and ceiling, repaired the floor, and then moved on to painting. The students' parents provided the necessary building materials, while the history teacher coordinated the work, taking into account the needs and comfort of the future users of the room.
Thanks to their collective efforts, the classroom was transformed into a modern, bright, and comfortable learning space. The school principal expressed gratitude to all those involved in the initiative:
“Once again, we’ve seen that when the community and social services unite their efforts, a lot can be done for children. This renovation became not only an example of mutual support but also showed the children the value of teamwork and helping one another.”
