The pupils of the Emerald City Social Rehabilitation Center, located in the village of Orynin, Khmelnytsky Oblast, were visited by guests from the Donetsk Regional Center for Technical Creativity of Children and Youth.
The teachers of the center prepared an educational and patriotic program "Colors of My Country" for the children. Each day gave the participants new impressions, and the activities helped them to systematize their knowledge of the history of the National Flag and Ukraine's difficult path to independence.
During the "Flag of Unity" quiz, the children learned interesting facts about state symbols, made puzzles, solved riddles, sang Ukrainian songs and performed dance moves to national melodies.
The patriotic quest "Me and Ukraine" was equally exciting, where participants deciphered quotes from famous writers, composed sayings about Ukraine, recalled rituals and traditions, marked regions on the map and solved crosswords on patriotic topics.
Workshops on making flags, bracelets and sun hats in national colors were held in a special atmosphere. Here children showed their creativity, imagination and talent.
And in the sports and entertainment game "Cossack entertainment" the children tested their strength, agility, endurance and will to win. This contributed not only to a good mood, but also to the formation of healthy lifestyle skills.
Every day, the activities ended with singing, exercises and funny photos. The atmosphere of unity and joy gave the children sincere emotions, new knowledge and self-confidence.
They were recharged with positive energy and good mood to start the school year with renewed vigor.
