Despite the daily challenges faced by Donetsk region, new businesses continue to emerge and grow — resilient, responsible, and deeply human, built not only on economic calculations but also on values: support, mutual help, and belief in the future.

On April 2, Nataliia Adamova, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, met with entrepreneur Yuliia Honcharova — the wife of a combat veteran, who managed to build her own business despite difficult circumstances.

Her story is an example of how, even in times of uncertainty, it is possible to find inner strength and create something new. By taking advantage of the state grant program “eRobota,” Yuliia launched a mobile coffee business: she purchased a mobile trailer, modern equipment, and created jobs.

But this business is about more than coffee — it is about people.

Yuliia gave opportunities to those who needed them most: women in difficult life situations. For one, it became her first work experience; for another, a chance to start over after forced displacement. With the support of the employment service, the entrepreneur also received compensation for labor costs, providing additional support for business development.

During the meeting, Nataliia Adamova emphasized that such businesses form the foundation of the region’s economic resilience — socially responsible and people-oriented:

“ We see how entrepreneurship can change lives — not only for business owners, but also for those who are given a chance for a new professional start. These examples prove that support works and delivers real results.”
