The opening of the Donetsk Regional Local History Museum’s exhibition “On the Line of Fire” took place in Chernivtsi. The project was presented at the Chernivtsi Regional Local History Museum. The exhibition is dedicated to Ukrainian servicemen and their daily service.
The opening was attended by Oksana Muravska, director of the Donetsk Regional Local History Museum, and Tetiana Minaieva, director of the Chernivtsi Regional Local History Museum. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of interregional cooperation between museums and the need to preserve the memory of the events of the War of Independence of Ukraine. A symbolic step in this direction was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two institutions.
Special guests at the event included military personnel from the units featured in the exhibition, as well as the photographers whose images convey its content and atmosphere.
Following the official proceedings, visitors had the opportunity to explore the exhibition in greater detail, guided by the curator, Kateryna Zelenska, Head of the Department of Contemporary History at the Donetsk Regional Local History Museum, who explained the main ideas and content of the exhibition project.
The exhibition “In the Line of Fire” will run until April 27.
