A musical and theatrical program entitled "Christmas Melodies and Miracles" was held in Kyiv, organized by the Department of Education and Science of the Donetsk Regional State Administration in conjunction with the Donetsk Youth Palace "Yunist." The participants were displaced children from Donetsk region aged 10 to 14.
The event combined theatrical art and live music, creating a holistic Christmas performance. The program included a nativity scene, performances of carols and shchedrivkas, as well as a festive concert "Ukraine Carols," which combined modern interpretations of Christmas songs with authentic melodies of Ukrainian tradition. An important component was interactive games that engaged the audience in a shared holiday experience, in particular the warm and symbolic quiz "Christmas is Near."
The program was distinguished by its emotional depth and sincerity. Through song, words, and stage action, participants and spectators immersed themselves in the atmosphere of a true Christmas—warm and bright. On this day, Ukrainian carols sounded not only as a musical genre, but as a living memory and cultural code that unites generations.
The musical and theatrical program introduced children to folk traditions and created a space for community and a sense of home. It is events like these that form a connection with culture, strengthen identity, and leave warm memories that stay with children for a long time.
