Throughout 2025, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service in Donetsk region conducted hundreds of operations to survey and clear areas of explosive objects. In total, more than 1,900 hectares of land were checked, and more than 5,450 pieces of ammunition and explosive remnants of war were found and destroyed.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
Special attention was paid to infrastructure facilities and the private sector: more than 30 kilometers of power lines were surveyed, as well as households in the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts. Modern technology plays an important role in demining: more than 9 hectares of the most difficult areas were cleared using a mechanized demining machine.
Despite the deadly risks, the State Emergency Service's pyrotechnicians continue their work, step by step clearing the land of Donetsk region of the explosive legacy of war. Their dedication, professionalism, and courage are the foundation of community safety, faith in tomorrow, and a confident path to a peaceful future.
