A multidisciplinary team from the Ruzhyn Community Social Services Center visited the Toretsk Social Services Center, which operates in the village of Karabchiyiv in the Zhytomyr region.
The visit took place on Christmas Eve as part of the Side by Side: United Communities project. The purpose of the meeting was to support displaced persons who were evacuated from the Toretsk community and currently reside in the host community.
During the visit, residents were provided with social services, including hairdressing. Such measures are an important part of comprehensive social support, as they contribute to improving the well-being, self-confidence, and emotional stability of people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
Cooperation between communities within the project demonstrates effective interaction and shared responsibility in providing assistance to those in need. Joining forces allows for continuous support for displaced persons and strengthens social cohesion within communities.
