The East Wind veterans' team from Donetsk region took part in the Sails of Courage and Memory veterans' regatta, where six teams of military personnel and veterans from Dnipro and Odesa regions competed.
The East Wind team included military personnel and veterans from Pokrovsk, Mariupol and Bakhmut districts.
The event was held to support national and patriotic education, promote active lifestyles among veterans, and facilitate their social adaptation and reintegration through sports.
The teams competed in two stages, demonstrating endurance, team cohesion and the will to win. The weather conditions required maximum concentration and coordinated actions of all crew members.
