According to a decision by the Expert and Fund Council under the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, cultural treasures are being returned to state ownership and transferred to the museum fund. This is an important step towards preserving our cultural heritage.
Kyiv Customs plays a major role in this process, doing everything possible to ensure that unique artifacts remain in Ukraine — in museums where they are accessible to everyone, rather than in private collections abroad.
Recently, the Donetsk Regional Art Museum received a valuable acquisition — the icon “God Almighty” from the late 19th — early 20th century.
Each donated artifact is a contribution to the preservation of Ukrainian culture and our shared history. Such acquisitions help the museum remain a space for memory, spirituality, and artistic development.
