#SideBySide

This weekend, cultural life was in full swing in Sheptytskyi, with our fellow citizens from Donetsk region taking part.

Twenty-five displaced persons who are active users of the services provided by the Pokrovsk community's humanitarian hub “Yednannia” had the opportunity to attend the play “Bagini” at the Sheptytskyi People's House free of charge.

This evening was a bright event that took place as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” whose goal is not only to provide material support, but also to create a space for cultural leisure, emotional relaxation, and socialization for those who were forced to leave their homes.

The performance by the Lesya Ukrainka National Music and Drama Theater, based on a play by Natalia Uvarova, was a real “laughter therapy,” which is so necessary in difficult times.

Those present in the hall also came together again to help our defenders—during the performance, funds were collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Evenings of cultural leisure and emotional relaxation help us endure difficult times far from our native Donetsk region, bring joy from time spent together, and strengthen our unity. This is our common front of emotional resilience.
