Under the chairmanship of Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, a regular meeting of the Transparency and Accountability Working Group was held. This week, the group reviewed purchases made by the Lyman City Territorial Community during the current year.
The head of the Lyman City Military Administration, Alexander Zhuravlev, reported that since the beginning of the year, the community has planned 35 purchases of goods and services worth almost 53 million hryvnia. The head of the community noted that most of the funds were spent on supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the construction of defensive structures, and the purchase of fuel and lubricants, anti-drone nets, and film.
Ihor Boiko noted that, according to information from the regional administration's Department of Economy, between August 12 and 21 of this year, customers in six territorial communities in the region planned 21 purchases worth 80.1 million hryvnias. Of the 21 purchases, seven contracts were concluded for the purchase of goods (radio-electronic warfare equipment, wire products), services for the routine repair of a backhoe loader, and the development of design and estimate documentation for the restoration of housing damaged by enemy shelling.
He also stressed that the Transparency and Accountability Working Group, which also includes representatives of law enforcement agencies, will continue to monitor purchases made and planned by communities in the region.
