The traditional event “Road of Unity”, organized by the Donetsk regional center for physical health of population “Sport for all” with the support of the Donetsk regional state administration and the Department of physical culture and sports of the regional state administration, took place from Donetsk oblast to Zakarpatska oblast.
The route of the motor rally dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Ukraine's independence ran from the “Donetsk Region” stele, where the deputy head of the Donetsk regional state administration Igor Boyko welcomed the participants, then through Poltava, Kyiv, and Lviv to the final destination – Uzhhorod.
In each of these cities, races entitled “I honor the warriors, I run for the Heroes of Ukraine” were held to honor the memory of the defenders who gave their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. Internally displaced persons from Donetsk Oblast, in particular representatives of the region's sports community, joined the patriotic campaign at these locations.
The participants of the event proved once again that regardless of distance and circumstances, everyone is united in their love for their homeland and respect for those who defend it.
The motor rally dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day is increasingly becoming a tradition that unites Donetsk residents in different regions of the country. The “Road of Unity” is another manifestation of unity and patriotism, a symbol of the nation's resilience and indestructibility.
