On April 15, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, Nataliia Adamova, met with entrepreneur Svitlana Tarakanova, owner of the flower shop “Vse Puchkom”, which has been successfully operating in Sloviansk since 2016.
During the meeting, they discussed current issues related to the development of small businesses in a frontline community. Despite the challenging security situation, the entrepreneur has not only preserved her business but continues to support the local economy and create jobs. With the assistance of the employment service, she has hired internally displaced persons and made use of a state program that compensates labor costs.
Special attention was given to opportunities for further business development. Nataliia Adamova informed the entrepreneur about the state grant program “Own Business”, implemented under the eRobota initiative, which opens up prospects for expanding operations, upgrading equipment, and creating new jobs.
Svitlana Tarakanova is considering participation in the program as the next step in scaling her business, which will allow her not only to grow her enterprise but also to make an additional contribution to the economic support of the community.
