As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” Natalia Vorobyova, head of the Mangush Town Military Administration, paid a working visit to the Solotvyno community in Zakarpattia Oblast.
During a meeting with the leadership of the Solotvyno community, the parties discussed future areas of cooperation, exchanged experiences of working under martial law, and explored prospects for implementing joint projects aimed at supporting community residents and developing inter-municipal partnerships.
As a symbol of friendship and partnership, Natalia Vorobyova presented the community with a symbolic composition featuring a map of Ukraine and the coats of arms of the Mangush and Solotvyno communities, representing unity, mutual support, and a shared commitment to development.
As part of the visit, the representative of the Mangush community also took part in the grand opening of a new fire station, established as part of an international project supported by the European Union and the Interreg NEXT “Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027” Program. Participants in the event were briefed on the project’s results, toured the newly built station, and inspected the modern fire truck, which will ensure rapid response to emergencies and enhance the safety of community residents.
The Solotvyno community’s experience in securing international support, developing infrastructure, and implementing modern solutions in the field of civil protection serves as an important example of effective partnership and regional development.
The national project “Side by Side: United Communities” continues to create new opportunities for Ukrainian communities to collaborate, exchange experiences, and implement joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the resilience and cohesion of regions.
