As part of the updated government program “Own Business 2.0,” the initiative to scale up existing businesses has become one of the most attractive government support tools. Entrepreneurs who already have a working business model and plan to expand their production or services can receive up to 2.5 million hryvnias in government assistance.
This grant program is intended exclusively for already registered and operating sole proprietorships or LLCs seeking to expand their operations.
The maximum amount of the base grant for scaling up ranges from 500,000 to 1,500,000 UAH. However, thanks to a special bonus accumulation system, the amount can increase to 2.5 million hryvnias.
Specifically:
A 50% increase applies to recipients implementing projects in priority economic sectors.
A 30% increase applies to recipients whose businesses are located in frontline regions.
A 20% increase is granted to veteran-owned businesses, VAT payers, and patent holders, in cases of business relocation or the creation of two or more jobs.
A 5% increase is granted to young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 25.
