The Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, announced that residents of the Donetsk region have received compensation totaling UAH 47.52 billion under the government's eRecovery program.
The head of the region held an online meeting to review the work of commissions responsible for inspecting damaged and destroyed housing and processing compensation claims under the eRecovery program.
Since the program was launched, residents of the Donetsk region have submitted 94,482 applications for compensation for destroyed residential properties. To date, 33,106 positive decisions have been approved, with total compensation amounting to UAH 47.52 billion.
People who have lost their homes because of Russian aggression must receive government assistance in a timely manner. This remains one of the most pressing issues for residents across all communities of the Donetsk region.
During the meeting, Vadym Filashkin heard reports from the heads of local military administrations and assigned specific tasks, including increasing the number of commission members and meetings, expanding the use of remote property inspections, accelerating the processing of technical reports, and issuing housing certificates without unnecessary delays.
"Recently, the work of local commissions has improved significantly. At the same time, the scale of destruction continues to grow. I am pleased that we already have successful examples. The experience of the Pokrovsk community shows that even under extremely difficult conditions, it is possible to work effectively for the benefit of local residents.
I have instructed communities to create chatbots, following the example of the Pokrovsk community, where residents will be able to ask questions and receive useful information about the eRecovery program specific to their locality.
Heads of military administrations must keep this work under their personal supervision.
Behind every application is a family that has lost its home and is waiting for a fair decision," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
