On March 20, as part of the nationwide project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a special meeting took place between students from Kostiantynivka Secondary School No. 4 (grades 1–12) and Oleksandriya Gymnasium No. 6.
It was a day of heartfelt conversations, smiles, and simple yet very important discoveries. Together, the children sought answers to the questions: what is happiness, and where can it be found in everyday life?
The event’s program offered many memorable moments:
- a festive lesson titled “The Bright Holiday of Happiness”;
- an interesting talk about the history and traditions of International Day of Happiness;
- a poetic warm-up activity titled “What Is Happiness?”;
- an interactive game called “The Seven Colors of Happiness”;
- the creation of a collaborative poster titled “Recipes for Happiness.”
The students actively shared their thoughts, listened to one another, supported, and inspired each other. A simple yet important idea resonated in the children’s words: happiness can be found in ordinary things—in friendship, a kind word, support, and the opportunity to be together, feeling like part of a community.
This meeting was another step toward mutual understanding, trust, and genuine unity among students from different communities. After all, when we are together, we are stronger, kinder, and happier.
