As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities," a creative meeting was held in the village of Hoshcha between Svitlana Labza, head of the "Fairy Tale Workshop" decorative and applied arts group at the Bakhmut City Community Center, and students from the Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education, which serves young people from the Bakhmut and Hoshcha communities and other regions of Ukraine.
The delicate quilling technique was chosen for the first master class. Not only the students but also a counselor and a teacher from the institution joined the creative process. In an atmosphere of sincere communication and focused work, the participants created colorful panels depicting flowers with their own hands.
Working together and in a team format allowed everyone to contribute their own part to the overall result. Everyone present was satisfied, because creativity is one of the best ways to recharge and feel the warmth of family even far from home.
We continue to create, preserving the traditions of our native Bakhmut.
