This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Head of the Regional Military Administration.
The delegation included 11 representatives of the region, led by Oleksandr Nesterenko, Head of the Regional Youth Congress of Donetsk Region. They were selected through a ranked vote among 97 candidates representing communities and civil society organizations across the region.
This format gives young people a genuine representative mandate and an opportunity to speak directly about the needs of their communities at the national level.
During the congress, the Donetsk delegation raised the issue of supporting young veterans after the war and creating conditions for their full professional and social integration.
“I thank the President of Ukraine for paying attention to the voice of young people, Viktor Mykyta for supporting regional youth congresses, and everyone involved in organizing the congress for giving young people an opportunity to be heard,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
