On August 14, 2025, an online dialogue “Ancient History of Ukraine: from Trypillians to Nomads” was held for the youth of Donetsk region. The event, organized by the platform “Center for Unity and National Resistance” and the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the regional state administration, was part of a free preparation course for NMT on the history of Ukraine.
The invited speaker, Svitlana Kryvoruchko, conducted a detailed review of the ancient history of Ukraine. She spoke about key periods and cultures, starting with the Trypillians, who created proto-cities and unique ceramic products. Special attention was paid to the warlike Scythians, who ruled the steppes, and the Sarmatians, who brought new technologies.
The event brought together 100 young people from the Donetsk region, who actively engaged in the dialogue, asking questions and participating in the chat discussion. Such interaction not only deepened their knowledge of Ukrainian history, but also strengthened their sense of national identity and connection with ancient roots.
