On July 19, 2025, the All-Ukrainian Youth Forum “State Builder. Generation of Resilience” was held in Kyiv, bringing together over 400 young activists from all regions of Ukraine, including the Donetsk Oblast. Among the participants were civil servants, leaders of youth councils, public activists, volunteers, representatives of youth centers, education workers, students and young entrepreneurs who are already implementing their own projects for the development of communities and the country.
The main goal of the event is to strengthen the participation of youth in the formation of state policy, community development and post-war reconstruction of the country. Those present had the opportunity to join meaningful discussions and listen to speeches by leading speakers, in particular, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidny, who emphasized the openness of central government bodies to youth initiatives, the fact that youth are the main driving force of positive changes and the state is ready to create opportunities and support initiatives aimed at developing civic activism and leadership. The Head of the National Agency for the Promotion of Youth in Ukraine Nataliya Alyushyna spoke about real opportunities for youth in the field of public service, debunking common stereotypes. Important issues of state-building, post-war reconstruction, strengthening the role of youth in social processes, involvement in public service, as well as intersectoral cooperation between the state, business and civil society were also discussed.
Representatives of the Youth Council under the Donetsk Regional State Administration actively shared their own experience with successful cases in the field of youth policy development in communities, involvement in overcoming the challenges faced by education in times of change, raising funds for project work, and also talked about already implemented projects and shared initiatives that are being implemented in veteran policy.
The forum showed that the young generation, among which there are many civil servants, are responsible, motivated and professional leaders who are already creating changes and shaping the sustainable future of Ukraine.
