As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Sofiivska community hosted the “Neighbor Battle” intellectual and entertainment game, which brought together young people from the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
The event began with a moment of silence to honor the memory of Ukraine’s defenders and the civilians whose lives were taken by Russian aggression. Petro Segedii, the head of the Sofiivka settlement, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
Sofia Donchenko represented the Staromlynivska community, sharing the history of her native region, its culture, traditions, Greek roots, and the community’s current situation.
Events like these bring together young people from the two regions, helping them get to know each other’s communities better, communicate, exchange ideas, and forge new connections.
