From June 12 to 14, a three-day military-patriotic school "Vovkulaka" was held in Transcarpathia. Representatives of the student youth of the Cherkasy community joined the event.
The main goal of the three-day gathering was the national-patriotic education of the younger generation, the formation of practical skills of civil defense, life safety and tactical training in martial law.
The program of the event was as rich as possible and consisted of theoretical and practical blocks. For three days, participants, under the guidance of experienced instructors, mastered the skills of tactical medicine, orientation in the terrain, as well as the specifics of survival in the wild. During the classes, special attention was paid to studying the tactics of conducting combat operations in highlands, the rules of camouflage, organization of communications and observation. The final stage of the training was a field game and a thematic lecture on the peculiarities of mountain assault training.
An important practical component of the training and a test of endurance for the youth was the conquest of Mount Darvayka. Overcoming the steep slope, the participants learned mutual support, team interaction and tempered their willpower.
In addition to military affairs, the training had a significant national-patriotic and educational component. In order to strengthen the patriotic spirit of the youth, participation in the thematic action “Flag of Hope”, inspiring conversations “Heroes of Our Time”, dedicated to the exploits of modern defenders of Ukraine, as well as a traditional evening bonfire were organized.
The successful completion of the military-patriotic training “Vovkulak” allowed the youth of the Donetsk region to return home with vivid impressions, a significant baggage of practical knowledge and new experience. Participation in events of this level not only hardened the young men and women physically, but also inspired them to further active activities.
