A delegation from Donetsk Oblast took part in the All-Ukrainian Forum of the Youth Capital of Ukraine, which was held this year in Dnipro-the city that won the title of Youth Capital of Ukraine. The regional delegation included members of the Donetsk Oblast Youth Congress, representatives of the Youth Council under the Donetsk Oblast State Administration, active young people from the region, as well as representatives of the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events for National-Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Oblast State Administration.
The event’s packed program brought together youth leaders from across the country and created an effective platform for sharing experiences, presenting social initiatives, and discussing key directions for the development of youth policy.
In particular, as part of the forum, participants had the opportunity to take part in the “Alley of Opportunities,” TED talks by the “Hvylia” youth network (“Dnipro. Youth. Opportunities”), presentations on motivating social initiatives and grant opportunities from the Ukrainian Youth Foundation, panel discussions titled “Business, Dnipro-Style: How Local Ideas Become Known Throughout the Country” and “From Service to New Roles: Veterans’ Experiences in Civilian Life,” interactive sessions, as well as a series of cultural and educational tours of the city.
The participation of young people from Donetsk Oblast in the forum helps foster interregional cooperation, increase civic engagement, and implement best practices in youth work within the communities of our region.
