School-age youth from the Dobropillia community proudly represented the Donetsk region at the "Jura – Border Guard" All-Ukrainian training camp held in Transcarpathia.
The "Phoenix of Resilience" squad took part in a five-day training program, gaining practical skills, building endurance, and fostering team cohesion under the guidance of experienced instructors in field conditions. The event featured a packed schedule focused on practical training. Participants learned about the operations of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine firsthand at the Ukraine-Romania border crossing point, studied modern technologies, practiced operating unmanned aerial vehicles, and observed border guard service dogs in action. They also completed an intensive tactical medicine course, learning to provide pre-medical aid and act cohesively in critical situations.
In addition to practical exercises, the program involved living in a tent camp, adhering to a strict daily schedule, and actively interacting with squads from other regions of Ukraine—activities that fostered national-patriotic education and strengthened Ukrainian identity.
The participation of representatives from the Donetsk region in this All-Ukrainian training camp demonstrates that the region's youth remain active, socially conscious, and motivated to grow, even amidst today's challenging circumstances.
