The “MiRazom” Support Center for Internally Displaced Persons from the Kramatorsk District, located in Dnipro, hosted the latest stage of the “Clean Hearts—Clean Planet” outreach campaign marathon, timed to coincide with World Cleanup Day.
The environmental event for IDP children from the Donetsk region was organized by educators from the Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center.
The gathering took the form of creative workshops, during which participants discussed the impact of daily habits on the environment and practical ways to conserve the planet’s resources. As part of the workshop “Eco-Bunny: Let’s Turn Old Jeans into a Stylish Keychain,” the children learned how to give used items a second life and created original accessories from scraps of denim.
This creative format helped foster environmental awareness, promote the concept of reusing materials, and develop practical upcycling skills among students.
