As part of Youth Week and the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” representatives of the Department of Culture, Family, Youth, and Sports of the Velykonovosilky Town Council and the Youth Council under the Velykonovosilky Town Military Administration paid a working visit to the Teplitsa community in Vinnytsia Oblast.
The two-day meeting provided a platform for direct dialogue between the youth councils of the two communities. Participants presented the activities of their youth councils, exchanged experiences in implementing initiatives, discussed current issues in youth policy, and identified areas for further cooperation. They also specifically considered the prospects of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation as a foundation for joint youth projects and new opportunities for young people.
An important part of the meeting was learning about life and development in the Teplitsa community. The young people visited local entrepreneurial and cultural initiatives, participated in a career guidance session, toured the Mykola Leontovych Museum, attended an open-air screening of a Ukrainian film, and took part in a workshop on making didukhs.
This meeting is not just about sharing experiences. It’s about young people who see opportunities for growth, are ready to take on responsibility, launch their own initiatives, and build partnerships. It is through such connections that an environment is created in which young people from different communities can learn from one another, support shared ideas, and take action together.
“Side by Side” does not unite territories—it unites people. And the unity of young people today is an important investment in Ukraine’s resilience, development, and future.
